Nice and compact. Uses my 18v batteries from other dewalt tools. Has the hog ring retainer which I seize to the spring loaded pin. One brand...the represent shows that it has the smaller battery nasty for the newer Nano style batteries, but mine had the aged style deplorable that fits the older ni-cad batteries. It works for me since I have only the older batteries. Both batteries will coast in and function. Seems to have the honest amount of torque for a 3/8" drive impact.
